Last weekend I did a bit of decorating. For months I have had these pictures printed out from my time in Germany last summer. They were in white mats, and I couldn't figure out how to attach them to the wall. Inspiration finally hit! I pained a piece of moulding, nailed it to the wall, and used ribbon, hot glue, and thumbtacks to attach my pictures. It worked great.
Here are the pictures if you would like a closer look. The first is just a pretty vine I saw in Stadthagen, the village where I stayed. The second is a 1000 year old rosebush outside of a church in Hildesheim. The third picture is a path leading to the where the women's quarters once stood at Bergen-Belsen, a former concentration camp.
